About

Industry knowledge. Recruitment expertise.

Oriel Recruitment combines specialist recruitment expertise with the industry experience of Clerkin Consulting. Our understanding of the businesses and sectors we serve allows us to look beyond individual vacancies and focus on finding the right people to support long-term growth.

Where we came from

Oriel Recruitment was established as Clerkin Connect, the recruitment division of Clerkin Consulting, before evolving into a dedicated specialist recruitment and talent solutions business within the Clerkin Group.

Our background in consulting gives us a practical understanding of the industries we serve. Through Clerkin Consulting’s work across manufacturing, engineering, construction and organisational development, we understand the operational challenges, management structures and workforce requirements that shape recruitment decisions.

Today, Oriel Recruitment combines that industry knowledge with dedicated recruitment expertise and established professional networks, supporting businesses across Ireland, the UK and Europe.

Our approach

We start with your business, not the vacancy.

Four stages, and you hear from us at every one.

  1. 01

    Understand

The business, its strategy, operations and culture. Where it is going, not just what is vacant today.

  2. 02

    Define

The role or capability actually required to get there — scoped against how the business runs.

  3. 03

    Search

Targeted market mapping and trusted networks. Direct, discreet contact with people who are rarely on a job board.

  4. 04

    Select

Competency assessment before you meet anyone, then support through the appointment and into the first months.

Outside of work, Nicola is very musical; she sings and plays multiple traditional Irish instruments.
